Lecico has requested the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) to suspend trading in its shares from July 22, 2026, pending approval by the EGX Listing Committee for the listing of new shares to be issued under its planned merger.
According to a statement by the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), the suspension will remain in effect until the Listing Committee approves the admission of the merger shares.
The merger will combine Lecico for Ceramic Industries, International Ceramics, and European Ceramics into Lecico Egypt, marking a significant restructuring move aimed at consolidating the group’s ceramic manufacturing operations under a single listed entity.
The development represents a key corporate action in Egypt’s industrial sector and is expected to streamline operations while strengthening Lecico Egypt’s market position once the merger process is completed.
