Cairo – Egypt's net foreign reserves increased to $56.294 billion in July 2026, up from $55.072 billion recorded in June, according to data released by the country's central bank on Wednesday.

The latest figures indicate a monthly increase of approximately $1.22 billion, reflecting continued growth in Egypt's foreign currency holdings. Foreign reserves are a key indicator of a country's ability to meet external debt obligations, stabilize its currency, and finance imports.

The Central Bank of Egypt did not provide additional details on the factors driving the increase in reserves.
